Honor a Loved One
A loved one’s birthday is around the corner and you are racking your brain for a gift. Well, why not do something a little different this birthday? Honor your loved one by making a donation in their name . The donation will support the children in one of our programs, and your loved one will receive a card from INMED wishing them a happy birthday and informing them that you made a donation in their honor. This kind of donation can be made to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, graduation or any other special occasion. Please remember to include the name and address of your loved one in the notes field so that we can send him/her a card on your behalf.
Build a Casa de Espera
To reduce the high rate of preventable maternal and infant deaths in Peru, INMED and its partners are building maternity waiting homes , known locally as casas de espera, in order to provide pregnant women and their families with a place to wait during the last few weeks or days of pregnancy. Each casa is staffed by trained health workers who assist the women once they go into labor, and monitor the health of both mother and baby after birth. INMED is raising funds to build, furnish and equip five new casas in Peru’s Amazon jungle, and we need your help!
