Compton Family Health Collaborative
Serving the Community Since 2001
Our Mission
The mission of the Compton Family Health Collaborative is to create opportunities to improve overall quality of life by empowering our community to minimize health disparities.
Who We Are
The Compton Family Health Collaborative (CFHC)—the only group of its kind in the historically underserved city of Compton—coordinates services, shares resources and information, and develops collaborative programs among more than 40 local service providers to meet the needs of agencies and families in the community.
Mobilized in 2001 by INMED Partnerships for Children, the CFHC works to help local families improve their health and well being in a community with many of the worst health outcomes in Los Angeles County, while building the capacity of the community to support positive change.
This innovative collaborative effort has made possible influential projects such the annual Back-to-School Immunization Campaign and community health fairs that have delivered more than 1,150 vaccines to at-risk children and provided more than 5,000 preventive health screenings for children and adults.
